Reconstruction of the new house

As we already reported in several journals before, a few months ago we were lucky to buy a neighbor-house under quite good conditions.

We planned to convert the already existing six small rooms into three bigger ones. One room is supposed to be for a new group, the second one will be used by a group of 35 children (6-9 years), whose present room is way too small for all of them. The third room will be the kitchen for the cooking-classes.

As we started to tear down the inner walls, unfortunately we had to discover, that the outer walls and the roof were resting on them. The former house was in such a bad shape, that we had to tear down everything, except one wall. Further we had to rebuilt the whole house. This process took more time than expected, but still, we hope to be done until January, so that the rooms can be used, when school starts again.

As the work at the house took more work and time than planned, the whole reconstruction  got more expensive than calculated. Fortunately we could rely on several visitors and good friends who kindly helped us out, so that we can finish work.

Therefore, we are very thankful and appreciate their kindness. We are looking forward to further visits, so that we can show them the new rooms, of course filled with lucky children.
